Missional Repurposing and Property Manager
Central Norfolk Circuit
The Central Norfolk Circuit is seeking to appoint a Property Manager for Churches, Manses and other property within the Circuit with the focus on missional repurposing. The Central Norfolk Circuit stretches from Great Ellingham in the south to Blakeney in the north and covers a great diversity of Methodist venues from rural inland villages to market towns and further to popular coastal locations. The churches are steeped in history, well established in the community and provide exciting opportunities for new and visionary missional purposes.
This post will be to assist the Circuit Leadership Team in managing the processes of future use whether that be sale, rental or re-invention and will encompass
all aspects of property management.
Salary £20 per hour for a part time position of 15 hours per week.
We are flexible about the particular hours worked during the week. The appointment will
be home-based with an expectation of extensive travel around the
Central Norfolk Circuit area.
Travel costs that arise in the role will be reimbursed. Some evening work
for meetings may be required.

Lay Pastoral Employee
The Central Norfolk Circuit is seeking a lay person for 10 hours a week, to provide pastoral support to the Circuit Presbyters, by visiting the housebound and those in hospital and keeping a record of pastoral work undertaken.
This is a permanent position and the salary will be £15 per hour. The employee must have the means of travelling to homes/hospital, for which travel reimbursement will be made.
There is an occupational requirement to be a practicing Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Appointment will be subject to:-
- a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) disclosure
- completion of Foundation and Advanced Safeguarding Training.
- Satisfactory references
5.6 weeks holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (1 week = 10 hours)
