A Christmas Gift of Friendship

on .

This year Rev Pam Bayliss, the Methodist Homes (MHA) District Representative, has delivered cards with messages to the MHA Homes in the District and also sent around 700 to be distributed to Homes and Schemes in other parts of the country. Methodist Homes would really like to show their appreciation for all the effort and support that has gone on and have drafted a thanks below listing the groups that have got involved.

Thank you to the following groups for your outstanding efforts in support of MHA’s Christmas Friendship Appeal. We were delighted to receive the cards which will bring cheer to the older people in our care. The cards have been shared across our Services and distributed by our local staff and chaplains, the residents and Live at Home Scheme members really do appreciate your good wishes.

This was feedback that we received from last year’s appeal.
“Thank you very much for the Christmas Cards which have been sent by church members/community groups across the UK. The Cards were very well received by our residents here. It was lovely to see their faces ‘light up’ to receive a card. I have found that the residents really do sit and look at the cards for a long time, especially the ‘handmade’ Christmas Cards”.
