JOB OPPORTUNITY
Wavestation Surf & Youth Lead
Are you passionate about surfing, youth culture and seeing lives transformed by Jesus?
Wavestation is an exciting new Surf Church taking shape in Mundesley on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. With a full-time Surf Church Missional Pioneer already in post, we’re now seeking an enthusiastic young adult leader who’s excited to share both a love of surfing and a vibrant faith in Jesus. The Surf and Youth Lead will work with the Wavestation team to plan and deliver surf events, youth events, beach activities and worship. Wavestation will be a beacon of hope for the local surf and coastal community, creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus through surf, beach culture, hospitality and worship.

This role is funded through the Methodist Church’s Young Adults Mission Placement Scheme (YAMPS), supporting the vocational development of young adults aged 18–30.
A satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
This role has an occupational requirement
to be a practising Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

COMMUNITY WORKER
MAGDALEN WAY METHODIST CHURCH, GORLESTON

Magdalen Way Methodist Church is excited to invite applications for a Community Worker who will help us nurture a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming local community. We are a church committed to following courageously wherever God leads and to making disciples of Jesus Christ. We’re looking for someone to support the minister and congregation in leading inclusive mission and outreach, building strong community partnerships and encouraging active involvement across the church family. They will also help to shape creative, accessible worship and initiatives that deepen our presence at the heart of the community.
This is a part‑time role of 25 hours per week, with a salary of £15 per hour.

This role has an occupational requirement for the post‑holder to

Caretaker, Southwold Methodist Chapel
15 hours per week £14.50 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious person to work as the Caretaker at Southwold Methodist Chapel.
The role offers flexibility in working hours, subject to the needs of the organisation.
If you take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, we invite you to apply for this part-time position.
Suitable candidates for this job require the following:
- Proven ability in cleaning
- Willing to work alone but under direction
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work flexibly
- Understanding of working in a community-focussed environment
- Ability to use stairs and carry out physical tasks such as moving chairs or tables
The successful applicant will require a satisfactory Enhanced DBS disclosure.
