Pioneering and NPNP
The District supports pioneers and missional leaders – both lay and ordained - in a number of ways.
We offer an annual retreat day as well as other events through the year.
Please contact our District Mission Enabler, Yasmin Finch if you would like to be added to the Pioneer Forum and missional leaders email list to hear about events, gatherings and funding. Click here to email.
East Anglia District will fund (inc travel) anyone serving in our churches or projects to go on the Growing and Sustaining New Christian Communities Course at Cliffe College. More information here - https://www.cliffcollege.ac.uk/courses/onsite-short/pioneer-ministry
This course is offered through a partnership between Cliff College and Methodist Pioneering Pathways and is designed for anyone who has started developing new Christian communities.
Other resources, webinars and information can be found on the Methodist website…

New Places for New People
NPNP is a new initiative to encourage new churches to be planted.
In East Anglia there is funding available for District-Circuit partnership projects to enable new Christian communities to form.
At the moment we have 3 new NPNP communities starting in East Anglia:
Upwell Garden Church, The Fens Circuit
Wavestation Surf Church, in the former Mundesley Methodist Chapel, North Norfolk Circuit
The Hive, in the former Great Cressingham Methodist Chapel, Central Norfolk Circuit
Please contact Yasmin for more information.
