Royston Methodist Church is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Bronze Award for Eco Churches organised by A Rocha. This has meant months of form filling and fulfilling criteria so that we could enter for the award.

Jackie and Briant Smith are pleased to welcome groups of 8 – 25, to share their garden for a time of spiritual and physical refreshment, immersed in the wonders of creation, amongst the plants, water and wildlife.
The garden, with plenty of seating areas, offers many opportunities for relaxation, fellowship and contemplation for small groups and individuals.
The aim of the partnership is the enrichment of both partners, and the enlivening of mission as we share together. The two Districts are both under The Methodist Church though in different conferences. There is much that we have in common such as worship, prayer, testimony, equality, gender, social justice, climate change and personal and community development. Besides having common ground, the partnership will encourage both sides to learn new cultures and expectations.
We cannot count our blessings without mentioning our Methodist family. Thanks to your prayers and kind generosity we are still supporting children and families through the pandemic.
This festive season, Action for Children is looking for a sleighful of Secret Santas to support our Christmas campaign.
Christmas is just 53 days away! Even though it’s been a really challenging year, the unwavering support of the Methodist Church starkly stands out in our memory.
