The unveling of a plaque in Toft displays the close cooperation between the Church in Toft and the village community; the obvious hand of God in blessing the village through the return of its fighting men; and the opportunity it offers all who pass to learn more about the Thankful Village concept.
Jennie Harris, who retired from her post as the East Anglia District Synod Secretary earlier this year, attended a presentation and lunch with many of her colleagues on Monday 10 December 2018.
Thanks to the tremendous support from Ixworth Village over the last 3 years, £1200 has been raised for the Toilet Twinning Charity.

This year Rev Pam Bayliss, the Methodist Homes (MHA) District Representative, has delivered cards with messages to the MHA Homes in the District and also sent around 700 to be distributed to Homes and Schemes in other parts of the country. Methodist Homes would really like to show their appreciation for all the effort and support that has gone on and have drafted a thanks below listing the groups that have got involved.
On Sunday 14th October 2018 a certificate was presented by Rev Chris White to Mrs Kath Wing during the morning service at Brandon Methodist Church in Suffolk.
